1) Optimize Your Listings
Update your images. Add some holiday-themed images to your listings.
Do some new keyword research.
Use Brand Analytics. This will allow you to see what keywords your product or a competitor’s product ranked for during a certain period of time last year during the holiday season.
Add a product video to your listing.
Add holiday-themed keywords throughout your listing. You can use backend search terms like “gift,” “last minute gift,” “gifts for ___,” “Christmas,” etc.
2) Adjust Your PPC Campaigns and Overall Budgets
If your ads are currently running profitably, you should consider increasing your daily budget to accommodate the expected increase. If you’re exhausting your daily budget by the end of the day, gradually increase it to keep your ads running.
Increase bids.
Try dynamic bids up and down.
Test Different Ad Strategies
The more you can place your ads on Amazon and even outside of Amazon during Q4, the better your chances of success.
3) Try the Amazon Vine Program
4) Create Holiday Sales
5) Create Coupons
6) Prepare for Holiday Returns
Consider the potential impact of product returns, which are an inevitable part of Amazon sales. Many sellers expect December to be their best selling month of the year, but January is typically the busiest month for returned items.
All products purchased between November 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023 can be returned by January 31, 2024.
The Christmas season is one of the busiest shopping seasons and even the smallest touches you make as a seller can make a difference. It’s not too late, there’s still time to complete your to-do list!
