Amazon broke records by achieving great success in 2023. According to the company’s latest quarterly report, it made $700 billion in sales last year. Net sales increased by 14% to $170 billion, and operating income increased to $13.2 billion. In addition, Amazon’s net income reached $10.6 billion. This success was greatly influenced by new services offered to customers and sellers, as well as benefits provided to Prime members and fast delivery services. Amazon also supported small and medium-sized businesses by breaking records in events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2023. Despite the tremendous success it achieved in 2023, it remains uncertain whether Amazon will be able to perform at the same level in 2024 due to the impact of current economic conditions.
